〈RONG MUSIC〉がDJ盤&コンピレーションによる2枚組CDをリリース

ディスコダブ・ファンより熱い支持を集めるサンフランシスコ／ニューヨークのアンダーグラウンド・ハウス・レーベル〈RONG MUSIC〉。12インチ・アナログ盤として流通してきた同レーベルのカタログを集めた2枚組のDJミックス&コンピレーションCDがリリースされることになった。タイトルは『This Is Rong Music』、発売予定日は3月8日。

サンフランシスコ在住のベン・クックとニューヨーク在住のDJスパンが運営する〈RONG MUSIC〉だが、今回リリースされる2枚組では〈DISC-1〉はDJスパンよるDJミックス、〈DISC-2〉はベン・クックとDJスパンの選曲によるコンピレーション盤という形式で収録される。ベン・クックが所属するトライアングル・オーケストラの楽曲が収録されるほか、UKのチキン・リップス、先頃来日した北欧のディスコ・ダブ彗星＝プリンス・トーマス、ベルギーのレイ・マング等がリミキサー参加した楽曲も収録される予定だ。収録予定曲目は下記の通り。世界中のアンダーグラウンド・ハウス・プロデューサーがリリースする同レーベルならではのコンピとなりそう。
