商品の紹介

カルロス・スリナッチはスペイン、バルセロナ出身の作曲家。バルセロナ、デュッセルドルフで学んだ後、アメリカに移住、モダン・ダンスのパイオニア、マーサ・グラハム(1894-1991)と組んで多くのバレエ音楽を手掛けた。このアルバムはそうした作品のひとつ。明快な形式と快活なリズムに溢れた音楽からバレエの情景が目に浮かんでくる。作曲者がバルセロナ出身とあって、スペイン的な要素が強く、ファリャあるいはコープランドの「エル・サロン・メヒコ」を思わせる部分もある楽しい一枚。
