「エイシスとガラテア」300周年記念盤!

ヘンデルの「セルセ」(CHAN 0797)や「セメレ」(CHAN0745)、「アルチェステ」(CHAN 0788)、「フラーヴィオ」(CHAN 0773)、そして「パルテノーペ」(CHAN 0719)など、上質で洗練されたヘンデルのレコーディングをリリースしてきたアーリー・オペラ・カンパニー(EOC)。1994年にクリスティアン・カーニンによって結成されたイギリスの古楽アンサンブルの新たなヘンデル録音は、1718年の初演から300周年を記念した、牧歌劇「エイシスとガラテア」が登場。ルーシー・クローウェやベンジャミン・ヒューレットといったバロック・オペラのエキスパートも再び登場し、ヘンデルのもっとも崇高な作品の一つ「エイシスとガラテア」の300周年を祝います。
