エストニア・フィルハーモニック室内合唱団による
シュニトケ、ペルトの合唱作品集

SACDハイブリッド盤。エストニア・フィルハーモニック室内合唱団(EPCD)は、1981年、トヌ・カリユステにより創設されました。2001年からポール・ヒリヤーが芸術監督と首席指揮者を務め、ハルモニアムンディUSAの制作した3枚の『バルトの声』をはじめとするCD録音や2007年ベルゲン国際フェスティヴァルなどへの出演により、もっとも国際的に知られるエストニアのアンサンブルのひとつになりました。2008年からダニエル・ロイスが指揮。そして2014年、ラトビア放送合唱団の常任指揮者を務めるラトビアのカスパルス・プトニンシュ(1966-)が新しい芸術監督、首席指揮者に任命されました。シュニトケが16世紀の作者不詳の四旬節のための詩編に作曲した《悔悛の詩編》。『ルカによる福音書』をテクストとするアルヴォ・ペルトの《マニフィカト》と《主よ、今こそあなたは》。ラトビア放送合唱団を指揮した『ヴァスクス 合唱作品集 - 母なる太陽』(BIS 1145)とラフマニノフの《晩祷》(BIS SA 2039)が BBC Music Magazine などのメディアから高く評価されたプトニンシュが、エストニア・フィルハーモニック室内合唱団を指揮する初めてのアルバムです。
