1960年代ソ連の名手らによる歴史的録音で堪能!
「森の歌」ほか、ショスタコーヴィチの"プロパガンダ的"声楽作品集
世界初演メンバーで聴くカンタータも!

★ショスタコーヴィチといえば、暗黒の旧ソ連政権に苦しめられたイメージがあります。しかし生きていくためには体制讃美の御用達作品を生み出す必要がありました。ソ連崩壊後、かつて演奏禁止とされた作品が再評価されているのと裏腹に、御用達作品はロシア本国で嫌悪を込めて封印される傾向にあります。今後、当分はロシア系の大演奏家による録音が望めませんが、ソ連時代に超大物演奏家たちが国の命で最上級の演奏を残していたのはまさに「怪我の功名」と申せましょう。

★いずれもスターリンと「地上の楽園」としての祖国を讃美したプロパガンダ作品ですが、さすがにスターリンへの過剰なレスペクトがすぎる「森の歌」は1962年に歌詞を改訂、当アルバムはその改訂歌詞披露録音。オリジナル版の初演でも主役を務めたイワノフスキーがここでも登場、豊かな美声を聴かせてくれます。また、カンタータ「われらの祖国に太陽は輝く」は世界初演1952 年の世界初演と同じメンバーによるのが貴重。コンスタンチン・イワノフならではの感動的爆演で、これを聴かせられればマインドコントロールされてしまうのも納得。「革命詩人による10の詩」も、現在では絶滅してしまったソ連合唱の実力をみせつけられる凄さ。改めてソ連時代の演奏家の個性とレベルの高さに言葉を失う記録です。
