商品の紹介

このランゴーの「天体の音楽」は、珍しい曲として紹介される機会は多いのですが、上演が困難なせいか、なかなか聴く機会に恵まれない作品として知られています。トーン・クラスターや、ピアノの弦をはじくなどの前衛的な手法が使われているせいもあり、「ものすごく神秘的な作品」として知られてしまっていますが、実際に聴いてみると、とても静かで壮麗な曲。前衛的な手法も奇をてらったものではなく、「どうしてもその音が必要だったから」その技法を用いただけだということがおわかりいただけることでしょう。ソプラノや合唱が入ってくる部分はホルストやマーラーすら思わせる深淵なものです。ランゴー独特の宗教観、死生観が反映された作品群、素晴らしい演奏と録音でお楽しみください。
