アデレードの「指環」完結！
アデレードの南オーストラリア州立歌劇場での「ニーベルングの指環」、完結です！ 今回は後半の大作2作、「ジークフリート」と「神々の黄昏」です。この「指環」で一貫してブリュンヒルデを歌っているのがリサ・ガスティーン。オーストラリアのブリスベン出身で、今や欧州ではブリュンヒルデ、イゾルデに引っ張りだこ。ここでも大きな存在感を示しています。「ジークフリート」のタイトルロール、ゲイリー・ライドアウトはカナダのテノール。若々しい爽やかな声の持ち主で、「フィデリオ」のフローレスタンなどを得意としました。2007年9月に55歳で亡くなってしまったため、貴重な録音となりました。ティモシー・マサードは米国のテノール。米国では既にドラマティック・テノールとして知られており、ヨーロッパにも活動を広げているところです。その他、リチャード・グリーガー、ジョン・ブレッヒェラー、エリザベス・キャンベルなど、「ラインの黄金」、「ワルキューレ」で既に実力を発揮していた歌手がここにも参加。イスラエル出身のアッシャー・フィッシュはアデレード交響楽団を見事に操り、立派な音楽を聞かせてくれます。 ［コメント提供；キングインターナショナル］
