Soundtrack veteran (and ex-Yes member) Trevor Rabin composed the score to the hit Disney adventure movie National Treasure. It's a serviceable, typical accompaniment to a film of this kind, alternating suspenseful orchestration, more uptempo rhythmic passages with percussion and electronics, and an overall sense of racing against danger, as titles like "The Chase" and "Foot Chase" indicate. There's nothing here to make it particularly stand out in isolation from the screen action, but there's a lot of alternation of moods, from the grandly contemplative to the tensely foreboding. ~ Richie Unterberger
