今は亡き故ゲイリー・ムーアのブルーズアルバムに傾倒する前のれっきとしたHRアルバム。前作「ワイルド・フロンティア」程、泣きのメロディは無く正にHR一本勝負で出したアルバム。JETレコード時代、「G-FORCE」「Dirty　Finger」のアルバム２枚もレコード会社の思惑で上手く動けず水面下でもがき、あの故コージー・パウエル（ｄｓ）とのプロジェクトも夢に消えたが・・・。今作はそのコージー・パウエルも参加した本当のＨＲアルバムである。＃５の「Ｌｅｄ　Ｃｌｏｎｅｓ」ではＶｏ．にオジーオズボーンを。また前作のメロディを煮詰めた＃１、＃１１の「Ｄｕｎｌｕｃｅ　Ｐａｒｔ１、２」＃１０の「Ｂｌｏｏｄ　Ｏｆ　Ｅｍｅｒａｌｄｓ」は圧巻。今聴いても、彼のプレイは凄い！！

アフター・ザ・ウォー＜生産限定盤＞｜CDアルバム

孤高のギタリスト、ムーアの大ヒット「ワイルド・フロンティア」に続くアルバム。前作がアイリッシュバリバリの名作（故フィル・ライノットに捧げた）だけに、今作はストレートなＨＲアルバムになっている。このアルバムでＨＲを最後にし、ブルースマンに変わるムーアの渾身のギタープレイが凄い。しかもバックの布陣の故コージー・パウエル（ｄｓ）もいて良質なＨＲが聴ける。前作が良すぎたので☆４つかな。
