Collectables' History of Rock Box is an attractive package for consumers interested in AM radio hits of the '50s and '60s. Spread out over five discs, all of these songs are recognizable even if the performers themselves are not. More than likely the casual music lover will only want one-hit wonders that appear throughout these five discs, including Toni Fisher ("The Big Hurt"), Curtis Lee ("Pretty Little Angel Eyes"), the Hollywood Argyles ("Alley Oop"), Paul & Paula ("Hey Paula"), Soul Survivors ("Expressway to Your Heart"), the Five Americans ("Western Union"), Betty Everett "It's in His Kiss [The Shoop Shoop Song]"), Marcie Blaine ("Bobby's Girl"), the Castaways ("Liar Liar"), and the Capitols ("Cool Jerk").
