What a blast! With a bottom heavy guitar figure, a Bob Wills-style holler and a crazy picante beat, this terrific and different disc lets itself be known to the listener. When Sublette says, "let's ride," the brassy horn section gets to work. Outrageous! This is one of those works that rises above novelty to offer some honest, inventive music. Granted, the percussion/vocal treatment of "Not Fade Away" leaves something to be desired, but Sublette still gets an 'A' for effort. ~ Tim Sheridan
