Scoring the music for the umpteenth sequel (this is the 11th chapter in the Friday the 13th series) to a film about a demented, masked psycho who goes on a killing spree on a spaceship in the year 2455 must be an interesting adventure. But for composer Harry Manfredini it must seem an old hat, as he scored the original Friday the 13th theme in 1980. Manfredini returns to create a riveting score that will surely outlive the short shelf life of the film. The familiar heavy breathing associated with the original theme is interspersed throughout the music. It is sinister and creepy and startling and poignant. Manfredini's score is the perfect decadent backdrop for your next goth-themed dinner party or Halloween festivities.
