Solo performer: Shajan (piano, guitar, flute, keyboards). Combining his musical background with training in Reiki massage, Shajan has an uncanny, almost magical power to affect the mind and transform the body during massage, meditation, and other bodywork. Using keyboards, piano, guitar, flute, Shajan begins the session with "Light Touch," which features drawn-out, overlapping melodies, and vocal treatments that create the sensation of being transported to an ethereal plane and showered with a million delicate crystals. "Hands of Light" offers a shift in mood, more staccato sounds mixed with birds chirping and other invigorating sounds of the natural world awakening and stirring at dawn. Meanwhile, "Vital Force" has deeper and more resounding tones, as if opening the mind and body to accept the more vigorous sections of the Reiki massage.
