A plethora of guests sweeten the Dirty Dozen Brass Band's 2002 release, MEDICATED MAGIC. With Dr. John, Norah Jones, DJ Logic, Olu Dara, John Bell of Widespread Panic, and others on board, these New Orleans natives kick out the jams Big Easy style. Amid the classic party anthems featured are the Meters' "Sissy Strut," Dr. John's "Walk on Guilded Splinters," and the Mardi Gras anthems "Big Chief" and "Junko Partner." Throughout there's no shortage of spot-on musicianship, interesting flavors, and gutbucket funkiness.
録音 : ステレオ (Studio)
