1990～2003年にかけて制作されたレア音源集『Elegy - Chapter II (Demos Comp.)』

スウェーデン発メロディック・デスメタル・バンドの重鎮=Edge of Sanity(エッジ・オブ・サニティ)は、1989年にボーカル、ダン・スワノ(Opeth、Dissection、Incantation)を中心に結成。70年代のプログレッシブ・ロックとデスメタルを組み合わせたスタイルを作り上げた先駆者である。今作、『Elegy - Chapter II (Demos Comp.)』は、1990年から2003年の間に制作された、未発表のデモ、リミックス、リハーサル音源、ライヴ音源、過去作のボーナス・トラック、オルタネート・バージョン、新たに制作されたインストゥルメンタル音源を収録したレア音源集。ソングライター/フロントマン/プロデューサーであるダン・スワノ監修によって制作。
CDは2枚組、全37曲収録、ライナーノーツと貴重写真を収録した32ページのブックレット付、Oカード仕様となっている。カーカスなどのアートワークを手掛けるアーティスト Mark Rudolphが今作のアートワークを手掛けている。
