Though the four lads who make up B2K may not look old enough to shave, they've already got their mack daddy rap down cold, and for a romantic R&B group, that's a crucial point. From a purely sonic viewpoint, they set the stage for seduction perfectly with rhythms that strike just the right balance between sensuality and gentle prodding, and lush, sparkling guitar and keyboard splashes. Thematically, they really bring the game home; letting girls know what they need on "Understanding," letting them know that B2K knows what women want on "Gots Ta Be," and even going so far as to include such ultra-confident fare as the very self-explanatory "B2K is Hot."
