E.バティス指揮のビゼーの管弦楽曲全集！

ビゼーのほぼすべての管弦楽のために書かれた作品を網羅した３枚セットのアルバム。
オペラからは、真珠採りの前奏曲も加えられています。

バティスの 分厚いオーケストラに 前に傾くリズムの勢いに乗せての 熱い演奏が この指揮者の特長です。

ハ長調の交響曲などでは、そのスタイルがプラスに働いています。
そして組曲『ローマ』は、イタリアから一気に「アマゾン」に飛んでいった様！
『パースの娘』の とてもゆったりとした丁寧な演奏は 指揮者が変わったみたい。

メキシコフィルハーモニー管弦楽団の明るい音色は スペインから南フランスの明るい音楽にピッタリ。

ただ、３枚目の交響曲と『ローマ』での弦楽器の荒れ方は ロイヤルフィル？と思うくらいです。

これ１つで 手軽にビゼーのオーケストラ曲がまとめて聴けるのがいいですね。
