監督　ヴェルナ－・ヘルツォーク！！（「フィツカラルド」の） ２００１年作品 『神に選ばれし無敵の男』サウンドトラック 主演　ティム・ロス、ウド・キアー 音楽　ハンス・ジマー＆クラウス・バデルト ヘルツォークとジマーという、考えてみれば、不思議にも 初顔合わせ。今回は、これまた初の試みか（「ハンニバル」の 発展系か）すごくクラシカル。ちょっとジョン・バリー的な憂いを 聴かせるメロディで、朗々と歌い上げるストリングス。コーラスを とり入れた荘厳な展開もそこここに。バーウェル 的な深みを効かせた５曲目ほか、クラシカルなスコアをお好みの 方に。それにしても、またしても、ジマー、新しい試み。決して、 以前の作品を思い起こさせる音を出さないのが、最近のジマーの ポリシーなのでしょうか。 (C)馬場敏裕
