1980年のバンド結成以来、精神的支柱でありDMサウンドの要であった"フレッチ"ことアンディ・フレッチャーが2022年60歳の若さで突然この世を去ったことで、失意の底に沈んだデペッシュ・モードの創設メンバーのデイヴ・ガーンとマーティン・ゴア.悲しみを受け止め2人は、"FLETCH"への想いを重ねた"初の2人体制"によるデペッシュ・モード最新作『メメント・モリ』(15作)を2023年3月に発表し、アルバムを引っ提げ"FLETCH"のいない初のワールド・ツアー「メメント・モリ・ツアー」をスタートさせることとなる。欧州/北米南米/カナダのスタジアム/アリーナを廻り、世界112公演で300万人以上のファンを魅了したワールド・ツアーは、まさしく"フレッチ"へのレクイエム・ツアーとなった。

＜Blu-ray1＞『DEPECHE MODE: M』は、メキシコの権威あるアリエル・アカデミー賞で作品賞や監督賞を含む10部門を受賞したメキシコ人映画監督フェルナンド・フリアスが脚本/監督を務め、2023年に開催されたデペッシュ・モードの「メメント・モリ」ツアーにおけるパフォーマンスを通して、メキシコ文化における死との関わりを探求する長編映画。コンサート映像と、様々なアーカイブを融合させ、バンドの世界的な影響力を称えると同時に、音楽、死、メキシコの伝統との繋がりを深く掘り下げている。

＜Blu-ray2＞は、2023年9月21日、23日、25日の3日間で20万人以上のファンで埋め尽くされたメキシコシティ・フォロ・ソル・スタジアムでのコンサートの模様を収録。楽曲は、全てフルサイズで収録されており、ファン垂涎のライヴ映像となっている。

＜CD1,2＞は、フォロ・ソル・スタジアムで行われた公演のライヴ音源に加え、最新スタジオ・アルバム『メメント・モリ』のセッションからの未発表4曲がボーナス・トラックとして追加収録されている。
