レイヴの勢いが最高潮に達していた80年代後半から90年代前半の〈ハードコア・テクノ〉がなぜかにわかに再評価の兆し。いまのようにシーンが細分化される前の話ですから、ハウスもテクノもブレイクビーツもなんでも混ざっております。プロディジーも808ステイトもT99もみんな同じ土俵にあったということで、このコンピのカオティックなはちきれっぷりはかなり楽しい。ここからまたいろいろ始まっていくワケです。
