Todd Rundgren isn't the easiest artist to anthologize since he's worked in so many styles and genres and may well be the best and most creative mimic in the whole history of rock music, but this 17-track set does a decent job of collecting his best-known songs, including the majestic power pop gem "I Saw the Light," the delicate "Hello It's Me," "Can We Still Be Friends," "We Gotta Get You a Woman," and the insistent "Bang the Drum All Day," making this a nice introduction to this restless artist for the casual listener. There's a whole lot more to the Todd Rundgren iceberg than this, though. ~ Steve Leggett
