Top-notch trance outfit Hallucinogen takes the spiky guitar/electronic shocker "Pteranodon" and turns it into a prehistoric dancefloor workout, all fluttering synths and squawking beats. System 7 sends "Sunhair" into the far reaches of the galaxy, Steve Hillage warping the guitar lines out of whack and speeding up the rhythm to hyperspeed velocity, while Zion Train does its customary futurist dub reggae thing all over the synthesizer fire dance of "Eternal Wheel." Especially effective is Will White's mix of "Wob Glass," which sends the frenetic electronics of the original spinning wildly out of control across fractured beats.
