Rhino's Swingin' Christmas collects 18 lounge, vocal pop, and big band renditions of holiday favorites, as performed by artists like Bob Francis, Les Brown, and Jack Jones. Highlights include Louis Prima's "Shake Hands With Santa," Kay Starr's "(Everybody's Waitin' for) The Man With the Bag," Louis Armstrong & the Commanders' "Cool Yule," and Esquivel's "White Christmas." Though it's not quite as unique as the Ultra-Lounge holiday albums, and pop culture's interest in lounge and big band music has cooled off in the past few years, Swingin' Christmas is still a fun, nostalgic collection. ~ Heather Phares
