There are no liner notes here, so it's impossible to say for sure when this stuff was recorded. From the sound of it--which resembles nothing less than Al Stewart backed by vintage ELO--it could be anytime between the late 1970s and the dawn of the new millennium. In any case, stylistically it bears very little relation to Donovan's seminal '60s hits. It's basically catchy, occasionally soulful bubblegum pop, with the notable exception of a remake of "Season of the Witch" that rocks a little harder than the original. There's also an interesting, sitar-laden version of "Sunshine Superman" that adds rainy day sound effects to nice ironic effect.

サンシャイン・スーパーマン｜CDアルバム

そこまでエスニックじゃないカレー
大きめの鍋でコトコト煮ながら聴いてます。
本場インドな音楽だとちょっと胸焼けしそうになるのですが
これくらいのオリエンタル感がちょうどいい
