Ninaはこの作品を、"自分とRachikaの若い頃の自分がかばんに荷物を詰め、手をつないで一緒に感傷と驚嘆の世界に逃げ込んで、ポスト・ロック、グリッチなインディー・エレクトロニカ、ネオ・クラシック、ポップといったジャンルを融合して、予期せぬ音楽を作り出したような感じだ"と話す。

また、本作には、Tujiko Noriko(ツジコノリコ)、Julianna Barwick、Cassandra Croft、ASPIDISTRAFLY、Katie Dey、June McDoom、Willy Siegel(Ponytail)らがゲスト参加している。

先行シングル「Blue Rags, Raging Wind (ft. Amigone)」はミニマルな鉄琴がユーフォリックに鳴り響く中、IDM/エレクトロニカ由来のビートや豊かなメロディと歌声がエモーショナルに展開していく必聴曲!

Disiniblud (pronounced "Disney blood") is a collaboration between contemporary composer Nina Keith and visionary guitarist Rachika Nayar, with the help of numerous guests. Their self-titled debut is an enigmatic, magical set of glitch-pop songs filled with fragmented textures, ethereal vocals, and complex yet delicate guitar melodies. Every track takes a different path, but they tend to be hopeful, surreal, and downright ecstatic at times. Julianna Barwick sings about how letting go results in positive change during opener "Give-upping," as her signature vocal layers become backed by stuttering bass, and everything builds to a dense, overwhelming climax. "Blue Rags, Raging Wind" crisscrosses glitchy bells with math rock guitar lines and strings, seemingly influenced by Matmos as well as Midwest emo. The Cassandra Croft-sung "Serpentine" augments levitating vocals and acoustic guitars with well-timed glitch flashes, then drops crunchy industrial beats and cinematic synths during the songs most intense moment. Centerpiece "Its Change" features Barwick, Willy Siegel (Ponytail), and Katie Dey, who contribute joyous shouts celebrating the inevitability of loss and the fleeting nature of existence. The albums title track is sweet and playful, with busy beats, trancey melodies, and sweeping vocal cut-ups. Tujiko Noriko guests on the rapturous closer, "My flickering gift to you," which swells up with distortion and echo at its emotional peak.
