巨匠ナイル・ロジャースによる1994年公開のエディ・マーフィの人気シリーズ第三弾『ビバリーヒルズ・コップ 3』のオリジナル・サウンドトラック・スコアが世界初登場。
大ヒットシリーズ第三弾にエディ・マーフィーとは「星の王子 ニューヨークへ行く」でも組んだナイル・ロジャースを迎えた。ロジャースは、アクセル・Fのテーマ曲を踏襲しつつ、大胆かつ独創的なアプローチで映画のスコアにまったく新しいオーケストラとリズムのスピンを与えることに成功している。まさに90年代のアクション映画音楽であり、オーケストラ中心の壮大でエキサイティングなものとして仕上がった。
本CDには映画に収められたスコア順に収録され、ワンダーランドのテーマパークの音楽やデモなどの追加音源も収録された決定盤!作曲家ナイル・ロジャースと監督ジョン・ランディスの新コメントも収録。
