The record is filled with lush soul samples and booming beats, sometimes pulling from 80s R&B and gospel. 活気づくテキサスはダラスのシーンを牽引するラッパーの、昨年リリースされた傑作がCD化。スリー6マフィアの名曲を思わせるオープニングの表題曲を筆頭に、古き良きサウスなノリを継承するソウルフルなサウンドとアクの強い主役のラップが見事に合致し、ゲストなしという潔さも良し。スクリュー・スタイルを注入した先行曲も泣ける。
