The sequel to his 2023 mainstream breakthrough, Ive Tried Everything But Therapy, Pt. 2 finds Teddy Swims digging deeper into his personal life, finding inspiration in love and healing. His second full-length studio album, its a more optimistic and energized experience than the first, cranking up the accessible pop sheen on his utterly soulful, powerhouse anthems. Pulse-pounding foot stompers such as "Not Your Man" and "Funeral" modernize the nostalgic, Ronson-esque neo-soul sound of the late 2000s, while soothing, R&B/jazz-inspired moments such as "Your Kind of Crazy" and "Are You Even Real" (with Giveon) showcase his robust, effortless vocal delivery. Other guests include Muni Long ("Black & White") and Coco Jones and GloRilla (the attitude-packed "She Got It"). The albums highlight, "Bad Dreams," became his third international smash hit, an infectious dose of melancholy pop goodness with a catchy chorus. Upon release, the set debuted at number four on the U.S. charts. ~ Neil Z. Yeung
