前作「ヘッドレス・クロス」同様、驚異のVo.トニー・マーティンを筆頭にオリジナルメンバーはトニー・アイオミのみ。dsにはコージー・パウエル、b.には名手ニール・マーレイが今作から参加。ブラック・サバスの中でも最高傑作に値するアルバム。重く、美しく、幻想的なアルバムに。マーティンのVo.は時にロニー・ディオを彷彿させるが、それ以上のハイトーン・ヴォイスと伸びが最高。聴き終えた後に心地よさを感じます。2024年リマスター盤で音質も最高！
