Every year on December 1, Colombian urbano Feid releases a surprise recording, and 2023 is no exception. Ferxxocalipsis is a ten-track, 25-minute EP that delivers party perreo jams and reflects the darker side of reggaeton with atmospheric, sometimes claustraphobic production and lyrics. Half the record showcases Feid solo on moody killers such as the tense "Alakan" and the drama-laden "Esquirla." The other half includes tight collaborations with Manas Ru-Fino ("La Vuelta"), Pirlo (Cual Es Esa"), ATL Jacob ("Luna"), Jhay P ("Yo Ak"), and Young Miko ("Classy 101"). The range of producers includes Wain, Jowan and Pardo, and Gs on the Beats.
