Usually, soundtracks don't move listeners in the same way as a new album from their favorite artist. However, this isn't the case with THE NUTTY PROFESSOR II. Like the first soundtrack, the album packs hits from Def Jam's talented roster, among others. The first single "It Doesn't Matter" comes courtesy of the movie's co-star Janet Jackson, and there's plenty more of that dance vibe on offer throughout. Sisqo's "Thong Song," featuring Foxy Brown, is a definite winner, while the album's ballads keep the overall feel balanced. Where hip-hop is concerned, contributions from Jay-Z, Method Man, and Redman & Eminem will have the biggest impact.
