Jahron Brathwaite was quieter than normal between 2020s Partymobile and 2024s PartyNextDoor 4, producing or co-writing tracks for a select few that included Diddy, Drake, and French Montana. He certainly didnt spend the interim overhauling his sound and lyrical approach, as his fourth album offers slight revisions with a little more definition and detail to his productions and occasional hints at maturity in terms of his view toward relationships. That said, he sounds perturbed when he admits to feeling drawn toward only one partner, proclaiming "I never wanna change" as if hes being held hostage. Some highlights, such as the spare "Resentment," sound like scenes from relationships that involve real communication. A greater quantity covers familiar ground to provide backdrops for hollow hookups in lavish settings. ~ TiVo Staff
