Lorna Shore returned to the studio in 2021 after a tumultuous few years that saw the Jersey deathcore enthusiasts looking for a full-time replacement for vocalist CJ McCreery. Will Ramos (Monument of a Memory) provided the band with a temporary live solution and came on board full-time on the And I Return to Nothingness EP. Ramos and new bass player Michael Yager join guitarists Andrew OConnor and Adam De Micco and drummer Austin Archey on the groups fourth full-length effort, the unrelenting Pain Remains. The LP, which leans hard into the bands symphonic metal tendencies, elicited both critical and commercial acclaim, appearing on multiple charts at home and abroad. ~ TiVo Staff
