Chicago rapper Lil Durk followed two chart-toppers -- the Lil Baby collaboration The Voice of the Heroes and the guest-heavy 2022 solo effort 7220 -- with another major chart success, Almost Healed. The album opens with a skit featuring Alicia Keys as a therapist asking Durk to open up about his issues, including his beefs with other rappers and the deaths of close friend King Von and his older brother, DThang. From there, he continues to process trauma, grief, and guilt, with tracks like "Pelle Coat" and the J. Cole-featuring "All My Life" being some of his more emotional material to date. Elsewhere on the album, there are features from Future, 21 Savage, the late Juice WRLD, controversial country singer Morgan Wallen, and others. ~ TiVo Staff
