Curiously if accurately titled - it is indeed three tracks long this EP heralded the band's return to action about a year after the Horror Head EP came out. The lead cut is unsurprisingly a song from Cuckoo, the album's first track "Missing Link." Blending the usual electric assault with an almost pop/punky main riff, not to mention a shimmering yet storming chorus, it breaks with the Curve formula just enough to make a real impact. "On the Wheel," the second track, is as strong as "Missing Link," with a slamming dance beat and memorable chorus giving the band a chance to show its more techno-inspired strengths. "Triumph" concludes the release with a crisp, rolling percussion loop and a just-restrained enough blend of Halliday's singing and Garcia's guitar, before shifting into a full band arrangement on the chorus with appropriate slow burning vim. ~ Ned Raggett
