Los Secretos have undergone a few reshufflings of direction and personnel since their beginnings as part of the Madrid new wave of the early '80s. En Este Mundo Raro is their first album of original material since 2006's Una y Mil Veces, and only the third with the latest incarnation of the band, now led by guitarist Alvaro Urquijo after his brother Enrique died in 1999.
