Made with post-breakup listening in mind, Thanks 4 Nothing conversely is almost as varied in emotions and scenarios as Pillow Talk, the album that preceded it by only six months. Tink continues to work closely with Hitmaka and a variable cast of associates who serve up another round of uncluttered productions. They leave ample space regardless of Tinks mode, whether shes bluntly conversational or baring her soul. It peaks early with the plainspoken and individualist "Fake Love," regretful "Toxic" (in the orchestral vein of Jazmine Sullivans "Lions, Tigers, and Bears"), and the deceptively light of touch "Save Your Soul." 半年ぶりというハイペースでリリースされた新作は、前作『Pillow Talk』と同じくヒットメイカが全面プロデュース。ミディアム～スロウを中心に彼女のもっちりと粘りつくようなヴォーカルの魅力を引き出す快作になった。タイ・ダラー・サインとのデュエット"Let Down My Guard"はジェイミー・フォックスの2005年曲をサンプリングし、得意のY2Kヴァイブを注入した良曲。
