2018年に刊行された自叙伝「The Individualist: Digressions, Dreams and Dissertations」と連動する形で行なわれた、トッド・ラングレン2019年の〈The Individualist Tour〉から、6月14日ペンシルヴェニア州ジム・ソープのペンズ・ピーク・ホールでのライヴを収録。

自身の半世紀におよぶキャリアと私生活について綴った自叙伝の発表に伴うツアーとあって、「Hello It's Me」「We Gotta Get You A Woman」「I Saw The Light」「Can We Still Be Friends」といった不朽の名曲から、ナッズ時代の「Open My Eyes」、アルバムからの人気曲や隠れた名曲「Compassion」「Honest Work」「The Want of a Nail」「The Individualist」まで、2部構成ステージによるセットリストもキャリアを総括するような内容。

バンドメンバーは、70年代ユートピア時代からの盟友カシム・サルトン(b)をはじめ、ジェシー・グレス(g)、元カーズのグレッグ・ホークス(key)、プレイリー・プリンス(ds)、ボビー・ストリックランド(sax, fl)といった気心の知れた布陣で、パワーポップ、ブルーアイドソウル、プログレ、ブルース、エレクトロなど、トッドの多彩な音楽性～サウンドを堅実にサポートしている。
