Violinist Mark Feldman is one such musician, and his distinguished resume includes everything from straight jazz to country to avant-garde chamber music. WHAT EXIT, released on ECM in 2006, features Feldman in a quartet setting, accompanied by a striking rhythm section featuring pianist John Taylor. The compositions are Feldman originals, and are rife with nuanced traces of his eclectic stylistic approach, not to mention the artist's magnificent skill on the violin.
