It doesn't take too much effort to determine where the collective mind of this exceedingly funky white rap outfit is at. With marijuana leaves plastered all over the album cover and such songs as "All About the Weed" and "Brain on Drugs," it's pretty clear these boys aren't exactly focusing on socio-political commentary. To their credit, the Kings carve out their own style on HIDDEN STASH II. Rather go down the pasty-faced gangsta road of Eminem or align themselves with over-the-top rap-rockers, the quartet pursues a sound typified by syncopated, intensely danceable beats and energetic but never overdone vocal delivery. Despite occasional stylistic diversions such as the hardcore punk attack of "Dying Daze" and the reggae lilt of "Tell me Why," the musical focus is squarely on pumped-up hip-hop (a genre never known for its aversion to the Kings' favorite lyrical theme).

ぶくぶくぶく……ぶくぶくぶく……。と、水パイプ使用時の音を使い、不健康かつ確実にヤバい雰囲気を、わざわざ曲中で再現。一般社会の底辺から吐き出されるゲロと膿。それらゴミ以下の物をコットンマウス・キングの面々が、最上級のエンターテイメントへと昇華させる。ぶくぶくぶく……ぶくぶくぶく……。前作『High Society』よりも滑らかになったラップも含めて、フロント3人の表現力に磨きがかかった結果、おなじみの下世話なサウンドはますます深化。また、音圧重視のビートには純度の高い毒が山盛りで、極上のパーティー・ロックに刺激を与える。ぶくぶくぶく……ぶくぶくぶく……。痛烈な皮肉、リアルな衝動、安上がりなルックス。どこを取ってもスタイリッシュとは無縁のヒップホップ・エッセンスが満載。で、そんな彼らは現在、エミネム率いるD12とともに毒舌闘争ツアーを敢行中だ!!
