The Golden Age Of Peter Bogdanovich｜CDアルバム
ピーター・ボグダノヴィッチ監督の作品と影響を受けたといわれている監督作品を集めた４枚組アルバム。ＤＩＳＣ１は「ラスト・ショー」。音楽は１９５１年から５２年にかけて流行したハンク・ウィリアムス、エディ・アーノルドなどのヒット曲を３０枚のレコードから選出したとの資料あり。ＤＩＳＣ２はライアン・オニール、テータム・オニールが出演したロードムービー。１９３０年代の流行曲ばかりを収録しているとのこと。コール・ポーターの曲も散りばめられている。ＤＩＳＣ３はオーソン・ウェルズ作品である「市民ケーン」や「黒い罠」等が収録されている。ＤＩＳＣ４にはジョン・フォード監督の「捜索者」がメインに収録。音楽はマックス・スタイナーで聴きごたえ充分の迫力あるサウンドが魅力であり、映画は観たことがあるが音楽は初めてのゲットなのでご機嫌。
