A seemingly odd choice to change stage names paid off for Priscilla Renea Hamilton when the accomplished singer/songwriter -- behind hits for Rihanna, Pitbull, Ariana Grande, and many others, plus two solo albums -- achieved her greatest success as a recording artist with "Hrs & Hrs." That slinky, sensual ballad is featured on this, Hamiltons third EP under the name Muni Long. Much more than the hit is on offer, such as the aching "Time Machine," the best showcase for her lithe vocals, and the much sweeter "To Do List," the lilt of which faintly recalls Mariah Careys "A No No" (one of her finest moments as a collaborator). Hamilton has referred to Muni Long as a persona, but theres no indication that shes putting less than 100 percent of herself into these songs. ~ Andy Kellman
