NOFXが14枚目となるアルバム『Single Album』を〈Fat Wreck Chords〉からリリース。
アルバムには「Linoleum」をカヴァーしたアーティストたちへ捧げる新曲「Linewleum」等、全10曲を収録。

Single Album is the 14th studio outing from West Coast punk stalwarts NOFX following their 2020 split-LP West Coast vs. Wessex with English singer/songwriter Frank Turner. Initially conceived as a double album, the bands sessions were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, and they subsequently refocused their effort into this shorter and typically wry single-album edition. Offering no major shake-ups to their tried and true formula, frontman/bassist Fat Mike and his colleagues nonetheless get down to business cranking out their signature blend with precision and vigor on darkly comic cuts like I Love You More Than I Hate Me and Fish in a Gun Barrel. NOFX even revisit their past, enlisting Avenged Sevenfold to help reinterpret the 1994 fan favorite Linoleum into the spirited Linewleum. Neither a boon nor a blemish to their already-stout catalog, Single Album should serve longtime fans well enough without pulling a lot of new ones in. ~ Timothy Monger
