サンプソン、デイヴィス、ダニエルズ、ブルックら古楽系ヴォーカルの超一流ソリストが集結!

英国古楽界の巨匠ロバート・キングとキングズ・コンソートが2013年に立ち上げた自主レーベル「Vivat」(ヴィヴァット)から、ヘンリー・パーセルの新しいレコーディングが登場!
キングズ・コンソートのパーセルと言えば、1988年録音のオード(頌歌)集第1巻から始まり、当時はあまり知られていなかったパーセルのオード全曲を第8巻にわたり録音(CDS44031/8)。その後、パーセルの宗教音楽全集(CDS44141/51)、世俗的独唱歌曲全集(CDS44161/3)などの一連の録音で古楽界を席捲し、パーセルのスペシャリストとしてのキングズ・コンソートの名を広めました。
それから32年後、2020年秋のパンデミック・ロックダウン中にレコーディング・セッションが組まれ、キングズ・コンソートによる新しいパーセル録音が実現。ジェイムズ2世とメアリー女王のための3つの傑出したオード(頌歌)を、キャロリン・サンプソン、イェスティン・デイヴィス、チャールズ・ダニエルズ、マシュー・ブルックら、キングズ・コンソートとともに20年間パーセルを録音・演奏してきた超一流古楽系歌手達(ダニエルズはオード集第1巻の録音にも参加!)と、カティ・デブレツェニがリードする精鋭揃いのアンサンブルでお贈りします。"VIVAT"の創設以来、最大級の重要リリースと自信を持って送り出される、素晴らしきパーセルにご期待ください。
