Released five years after 2015s Be One -- at the time of its arrival, her longest gap between records -- No Stranger is Natalie Grants tenth studio album. It was partly inspired by a 2017 thyroid cancer diagnosis and subsequent recovery. Highlighted by the singles My Weapon and Praise You in This Storm, a poignant strings-and-piano ballad, the album features expansive orchestral arrangements as well as outliers like Do It Through Me, a crisp electro-pop track, and Even Louder, which features rapper Steven Malcolm and the multifaceted Mr. Talkbox. Recorded with various producers, including longtime collaborator Bernie Herms, it returned Grant to the Top 20 of the Billboard 200 for the first time since 2013. ~ Marcy Donelson
