「高揚感のあるヴォーカル、スローなブレイクダウン、そしてそこからの解放。それは今まで見つけてきた多くのクラシックなハウスの重要な部分であって、その感覚を表現したかった。」と本人が語る通り、自身のDJセットで披露した途端にすぐさま公式リリースを嘆願するメッセージが殺到したという逸話を持つアンセム「Both Of Us」に加え、2ステップ～ガラージをアブストラクトでトライバルなビートにリモデルしたディープ・ナンバー「Are U Down」、そしれそれぞれのリミックスをカップリングした全4曲を収録。
共同プロデューサーにはHeadie One、Jamie xx、fkaTwigs、Samphaとコラボレートした話題作、『GANG』を制作したFred again..が名を連ねている。

Jayda Gs breezy but wistful tune Both of Us provoked strong reactions from fans as soon as she started dropping it in her DJ sets. A throwback to classic Chicago house with an uplifting, piano-drenched beat and simple yet undeniably emotional lyrics, the track features Jayda intimately assuring I can love enough for the both of us, later slowing to a crawl during a dramatic, handclap-filled breakdown before she joyously croons I just want to be with you. What wouldve been a surefire summer festival anthem ended up being released several months into the coronavirus pandemic, and the track struck a chord with homebound clubbers, racking up millions of streams within weeks and becoming her biggest hit to date. Twin A-side Are U Down has a similar vibe but feels more playful, with Jaydas whispered murmurs and pitch-shifted laughter sharing space with a sly, catchy vocal hook. Both tracks are reprised in more beat-heavy remixes that rework the vocals, placing them closer to the sound of Jaydas wonderful 2018 full-length debut, Significant Changes -- the Sunset Bliss Mix of Both of Us even begins with a snippet about recreational fishing, continuing the scientific theme of the album, informed by her studies on environmental toxicology. ~ Paul Simpson
