Atlas

Sometimes a new recording just clicks from the first time you listen to it. Atlas' self-titled tape does just that. From the time you pick it up, there is a feeling that you're in for something special. The cover art is excellent and makes you want to play it right away. The entire tape revolves around the story of Xylo and Zeep, and their travels through space. Each track is part of the story, with each title describing an event that takes place during their journey. The best track is the last one, titled "Decompression". It is upbeat and inspiring, leaving the listener wanting more. They should get more too, because the story ends with the line "Stay tuned".
