【孤高の天才=プリンス】2002年発売 プリンス初のライヴ盤『One Nite Alone... Live!』を初アナログ盤化 (4枚組)

2016年に急逝、現在も世界中のアーティストや音楽ファンに多大な影響を与え続けている孤高の天才=プリンス。1995年以降に発売され、廃盤後は入手困難となっていた作品を発売していくカタログ・リリース・プロジェクト《LOVE 4EVER》。第5弾となる今回は、2002年の作品『ワン・ナイト・アローン...ライヴ!』を初アナログ盤化(4枚組)。この作品はプリンス初のライヴ・アルバムであり、彼が偉大なライヴ・パフォーマーであることが体感できる極上のライヴ音像が収められた究極の作品となっている。
プリンスにとって1995年以降はメジャー・レーベルを離れてより自由に自分のペースで才能を爆発させていった解放期でもあり、作品のあらゆる販売方法を模索した革新期でもあり、そして音楽的にもより精度を高めていった円熟期にもあたる。
多くの人へ影響を与え続ける非凡な才能と数々のマスターピースが、時空を超えて未来へと受け継がれていく。

今頃になって、やっと購入しました。感動しました。DISK１のオープニングは震えが来たくらい、渋い！！JAZZY＆FUNCKYの融合がたまらない。DISK２はオールドファンにはたまらない。ピアノの弾き語り部分は、感涙にむせるほど素晴らしかった。DISK３でのラフな感じもまた、最高にFUNCKY。
値段は高いが、それを感じさせない、最高の作品だと思います。

Disc2のピアノ弾き語りは涙もの！
パープルレインもKissも収録されていないけれど、それらは必要なしと感じさせる殿下の素晴らしさが堪能出来るライブ盤。
