アート・ブレイキー&ザ・ジャズ・メッセンジャーズ＜生産限定盤＞｜UHQCD
ジャズメッセンジャーズの中では殆ど話題に上がることがないけどこれは隠れた名作。リー・モーガン、カーティス・フラー、ウェイン・ショーターの3管編成でモードJAZZに挑戦している。もちろんハードバップ&ファンキー色は残しているんだけど①などはモードの名演だと思う。スタンダードバラードの④をメッセンジャーズで聴けるのもポイント高いです。
