Castles Live in Amsterdam is a recording of the Whos September 29, 1969 show at Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Holland. While it isnt as complete as the Swinging Pigs bootleg version, Castles edition sounds terrific and its a good showcase for the Whos loose, ferocious and vital performance, even if it doesnt quite meet the peaks of the officially released Live at Leeds and Isle of Wight. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
